The twists, turns and peaks and valleys of my "approaching 60" life have not always been easy, but, what an adventure! Metaphorically there have been flat tires, runaway trailers, dents, and accidents but all have led me to where I am now...restoring "Dorothy" a 196? Metzendorf canned ham.
Wanderlust hit me early as I flipped through the "Triptiks" of the 50's and '60's watching life's ever changing landscapes. The youngest of three, I was assigned to sit in the middle on the "hump" in the backseat of the family sedan. To dude ranches, national parks, and business conventions we went, often squabbling, yet excited to find what was in store for us.
Upon leaving home and navigating my own path, I always dreamed of owning a trailer. Now, almost 40 years later, I welcome "Dorothy" to my life. Where will this journey lead me?
